Glycomet 500 mg is a member of a class of anti-diabetic medications known as biguanides that is used to treat diabetes. It contributes to the reduction of elevated blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetic patients. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic or lifelong disease that impairs our body’s glucose metabolism.
